The Worst Serial Killers Of All Time

1. The Bloody Benders  a family of serial killers who ran a small store and inn in Kansas. They killed at least 11 rich travelers who stayed at their inn. The house had a large room that was divided by a large curtain. Kate, the daughter, would distract the guest while either John Bender or his son would creep up from behind the curtain and strike them on the head with a hammer. The bodies were stripped and buried in their secret cellar.The movie Hell Benders(1999) was based on the killings by this twisted family.
2. Dennis Nilsen/Muswell Hill Murderer-England he killed at least 15 men and boys between 1978 and 1983, and he retained the bodies.How was he caught? Someone complained of a blocked drain.Cleaning company found human flesh and called the police.Nilsen was sentenced to life in prison.
3. David and Catherine Birnie/Moorhouse Murders-Australia kidnapped and abducted 5 women aged 15 to 35, repeatedly raped them and brutally murdered 4 of them.Kate Moir survived, escaped and contacted the police. The Birnies were arrested and sentenced to 4 consecutive life sentences. David hanged himself in his cell in 2005.   
4. Ted Bundy-America

          killed over 30 middle-class white women aged between 15 and 25.Also guilty of rape and necrophilia. He actually collected the heads as souvenirs. He was executed by electric chair in 1989, in Florida.Most of his victims resembled his fiancee, Stephanie Brooks.






5. Dean Arnold Corll/Houston Mass Murderer-America

Enticed and killed 27 young boys. He was working with two younger accomplices, David Brooks and Elmer Wayne. He raped the boys, then proceeded to shoot or strangle them. The accomplices found each boy for $200.Dean was killed by one of his accomplices. Good riddance.

6. Gary Leon Ridgeway/The Green River Killer-America  had 48 charges of first degree murder against him. The name Green River Killer comes from the fact that his first 5 victims were found in the Green River. In a statement, the sicko said that killing women was "his career", most of which were prostitutes. He was sentenced to life in 2005.

7. Yang Xinhai/Monster Killer- China commited 65 killings and 23 rapes between 1999 and 2003.He 
was eventually caught through DNA profiling evidence. Yang was shot in the back of the head, execution style, in February 2004.

8. Carl Eugene Watts/Coral- America  he was an African-American who killed more than 100 white females aged between 14 and 44. His first murder was at age 20, in 1974. He kidnapped his victims from their homes, tortured them then killed them. He was a suspect in about 90 more unsolved murders. He was sentenced to life, and he died of cancer.

killed at least 140 young boys. He pinpointed the locations of the boys' corpses through a map he drew in prison. He raped his victims, then had their throats slit. He was initially sentenced to 30 years(only?!!) which was later reduced to 22 years.

10. Countess Erzsebet Bathory/ The Blood Countess- Blood Queen-Hungary

evil Hungarian countess that slaughtered more than 600 young virgin women and bathed in their blood in an attempt to preserve her beauty and youth.Her accomplices were executed, but she was bricked into the walls of her room till death, as house arrest. Many movies, novels and plays bear the character of the blood countess.

11. Thug Behram - India  one of the most lethal and prolific murderers of all time. He was a member of a cult called Thugee, which is of Indian origin. He may have murdered more than 931people by strangulation, an he always used his ceremonial cloth for the murders. He was hanged in 1840.

12. Jack The Ripper - London  an unidentified serial killer who carried out his killings in the area around the Whitechapel district in London. He was also known as the Whitechapel murderer or Leather Apron.The attacks were on white female prostitutes, who later had their abdomens mutilated. The murders were never solved, and has led to genuine reasearch, folklore, and pseudohistory.

13. Ed Gein  he was an American murderer and body snatcher. He was also called The Butcher of Plainsfield. He exhumed corpses from local graveyards and used them to make trophies out of the bones and skin. He made a whole arm chair out of human skin. In 1957, police found various body parts in his house, including noses, female heads, a lampshade made from human skin....and other gruesome findings. Only 2 confirmed killings have been linked to Ed Gein. How many more there were is unknown.
Many films have been made, based on the character of Ed Gein, including Psycho, Silence of the lambs and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Is Chino XL a Mensa Genius?

Chino XL is a 38-yr-old New Jersey born rapper, who is also a verified member of MENSA. Mensa is a league of people with the highest IQs in the world. He is also an avid bodybuilder. Chino was signed at the age of 16 by hiphop impressario Rick Rubin, and has continued to dazzle audiences with his multi-syllabic rhymes  such as ("sit down with Mussolini and Hitler\exchange war stories to show whose mind is sicker").

Chino's first album, the 1996 Here To Save You All had several chart topping tracks, and he has subsequently built himself a loyal following.Chino has a gift for complex yet entertaining wordplay, and his pitch-black sense of humor.

Chino has had his own ups and downs, including dealing with his daughter's cancer and his own suicide attempt.

My 2 cents? Chino definitely deserves to be in Mensa, and anybody who has ever listened to his rap assault-style delivery rhyming will tell you why. Chino be da best, man.

DNA profiling is a technique employed by forensic scientists to identify persons based on their DNA profiles. Using PCR technology, DNA analysis is utilized in establishing paternity.

In a paternity test, unique markers called Short Tandem Repeats (short pieces of DNA that occur in unique repeat patterns).

Each marker is assigned a paternity index, PI, a measure of how powerfully a match at a specific marker relates to paternity. These indices are usually so strong that they can exclude the whole all other males in a population aside from the biological father with a high degree of accuracy.

Ukoo Flani is a Kenyan hiphop group that is said to have pioneered conscious hiphop in Kenya. Little known fact:
Ukoo Flani stands for Upendo Kwote Olewenu Ombeni Funzo La Aliyetuumba Njia Iwepo.

The group consists of members Nguchi P, Alai K, Chizzen Brain,  Shaolin Musa, Canibal, Labalaa, Fujo Makelele, R.I.C., Pop, Sharama, Richie Rich, La Vasti and Daktari Dunga, G-rongi, Kimya, Roba, Ibra, Zakah, and other associated acts.

Originally formed as an underground hiphop group in 1992 by Nguchi P and Pop, Ukoo Flani has gone on to blaze the trail for other hiphop artists all over East Africa. A notable associated act in Ukoo is Nazizi, a female rapper who has done quite well for herself in the Kenyan rap industry.
Ukoo is one of the best right out of our own dear Africa, and believe me, the deliver.

My 2 cents? Their album Dandora Burning (2006), is a classic, featuring such tracks as Angalia saa, Mara Mia, M-A-U double, Tafsiri Yale and Constantly.

DEXTER vs BREAKING BAD...WHO DOES IT BETTER?

Dexter is a long-running crime/drama/mystery TV series that centers around the life of Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter analyst with the Miami Metro police department. By day, Dexter is a dedicated employee, and is seen to get along with everybody at the station...well, aside from that stewing beef he seems to harbor against Detective Quinn.

What his buddies don't know is that by night, Dexter takes on an entirely new personality as a serial killer, who takes it upon himself to correct the wrongs of people who have violated a moral code taught to him by his late father, Harry. People he believes have escaped justice.

Dexter seems to get better and better at killing, perfecting his dark art, until he runs up against the "ice truck killer", who leaves no blood traces at the crime scene. If you claim any stakes in the world of forensics, then Dexter is a man you will want to know about, trust me.

Breaking Bad is about Walter White, a disillusioned chemistry genius doing a stint as a high school teacher. He is informed that he has stage III cancer, and, deciding he has absolutely nothing to lose (dangerous men with nothing to lose, where have I heard that one before?!), he enlists the help of Jesse Pinkman, a former high school student of his. The two go on to produce the world's most high quality crystal meth.

Walt goes one to become a major player in the drug trade, secretly providing for his wife and son(who has cerebral palsy), all under the nose of his D.E.A. agent brother-in-law, Hank Schrader. How long will Walt survive at this deadly game? Watch and find out.

My 2 cents on the two? Breaking Bad takes the cake!!! Its just a hugely entertaining show where you never know what creek Walt and Jesse are going to be up next. Keep watching, people!!

CRIMINAL PROFILING

Now that more and more youth mitaani and on the streets are turning to crime for escape from the bludgeoning effects of poverty, what measures are taken by the police to understand what makes a person a criminal?

We have all watched cool and interesting sera ( plural ya series, msee!!) such as CSI, Criminal Minds, Bones, but what does real criminal profiling involve?
Criminal profiling is built on the principles of  criminal behaviour, study of mental illness, and an integration of forensic sciences.It is more commonly known as behavioral profiling. So, what makes a criminal a criminal?

Cesaro Lombroso, one of the first criminalists, classified criminals into three major types:

1. Born Criminals: degenerate, primitive, lower evolutionary reversions in terms of physical characteritics lead a person to committing crime.
2. Insane criminals: those who suffered from mental and/or physical illnesses and deficiencies. The resulting state of mind eventually propels these individuals to crime.
3. Criminaloids: criminals whose mental and emotional makeup pre-disposed them to criminal behaviour, under certain conditions...(poverty?)

There is nothing magical about the criminal profiling methodology. People still think of it as more of an art than a science.  In the profiling, there are two methods:

• deductive reasoning, and
• inductive reasoning.

Both of these methods are time-tested and each relies on the other in order for the whole profile to be correct.

CHIMBO SKWADA....GONE MISSING?

Chimbo Skwada is a hiphop group from East Africa that consists of members OP and Funzo. The group have received some limited airplay through various East African radio stations, especially on the Underground hiphop shows.

The group's album, Nyimbo Toka Chimbo Skwada, had some pretty good songs, and the lyrics were well crafted, with quick and witty delivery.

The group is signed under Starr Records, and managed by Kasumuni.

The million dollar question is, where did Chimbo go after dropping Nyimbo? This is clearly the type of music that is both informative and entertaining, and which needs more airplay. The truth is that real hiphoppas are tired of the constant bragging and lack of quality lyrics by today's current crop of artists.
Hiphop deserves better!!

Who knows, Chimbo might just show up and drop another awesome album on us..until then, keep them represented!!
